I have never seen so much rust in my life. I noticed this little store on the way back from a hike at Caesar’s Head several weeks ago. I knew I had to stop and shoot some pictures. I finally had the time to make it back today. The store is located in Traveler’s Rest and is owned by a local elderly couple. They have been running the store for about 12 years. Make a list of 40 things you do not need, and I guarantee you they are in this store. There was a lot of old junk. It was a photographer’s dream. I found so many interesting textures that only time and lack of care could produce. A couple of examples are below. Enjoy!

These are pictures from my journey abroad during the fall. I traveled with about 40 students from Furman University and 5 Furman professors. We studied the British political system and European Union institutions. It was truly the trip of a lifetime. Click the picture below and let me know what you think.
